About this event:

The game is on! In a few weeks, the first edition of the Advando Hackathon contest will take place, and we want to invite you!

On Tuesday, 26th of September, we have a maximum of 10 spots available for project controls specialists to participate in our Advando Hackathon. The hackathon will be held live in Terneuzen, and you can also participate online. It starts at 18:45 CET.

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭? 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐮𝐩!

As a participating contestant, you will be paired with a student specializing in information and AI technology from Leiden University. Together, in a breakout room, you’ll have 30 minutes to come up with the best idea and present it to the online and live audience and jury.

If you prefer to be in the audience and vote for the best pitch, you’re more than welcome.

We at Advando challenged Arjan to elaborate on one of our recent projects without the availability of a 3D model, and we are eager to see the outcome.

He will showcase how tasks are planned, including the use of scaffolds, manpower, cranes, and more. Additionally, Arjan will discuss the use of digital project management, emphasizing virtual construction as a primary means of communication.

Due to the utilization of various data sources and software packages, Arjan has also developed an integration platform (website) where all results from the 3D model can be displayed. This website is project-specific, allowing for real-time comments, enabling, for instance, immediate web-based progress reporting.
